I do not have that many guitars :) Also I was once accused of not liking anything with a beat so I wouldn’t really own a drum kit. This accusation was later taken back.  I like the rock and roll.

This mp3 has been floating around for a while on the magical interweb, and is a cover of one of my favorite Leonard Cohen songs, Winter Lady. You can download it for free here: http://soundcloud.com/marissanadler  I am aware that I titled it wrong in the actual track, because I always think of this song as more about traveling and less about winter. I feel badly about making a mistake when covering an artist I revere. 

The song is part of my soon to be finished Covers Record Volume II that was an incentive to pre-order “Marissa Nadler.” So strange to refer to myself in third person. Anyway, I am almost done with the record and apologize for being late with it. I just wanted to it to be as good as I could make it and the kickstarter took so much energy out of me I couldn’t focus on creating the record within the time span that I gave for myself.
